Parents and students of took to the streets of downtown Rochester the weekend of June 8-10 to take part in the school’s first-ever “McGregor Loves Main Street” promotion sponsored by the McGregor PTA.
McGregor families were asked to eat, shop and play downtown Friday, Saturday and Sunday in order to help support local businesses and merchants, especially during the current phase of construction along Main Street. To gain momentum for the event the McGregor PTA partnered with the Downtown Development Authority who helped spread the word about the school’s promotion to businesses throughout downtown.
