Rochester Hills resident Cynthia LaMaide, an innovative designer in the fashion industry a a fiber artist, fashion designer and costume designer for films, music videos and photo shoots has already signed on as the professional stylist for the Spring and Fall 2012 Village Fashion Shows. Cynthia’s designs have been seen on such stars and Lenny Kravitz, Jennifer Anniston and she has worked side by side such fashion icons as Donatello Versace.
On March 18, LaMaide will share her knowledge for design at the Village of Rochester Hills Fashion Show at the , which benefits the Women’s Fund of Rochester.

“We are looking forward to a great afternoon of fashion,” said LaMaide, who is leading the production of the show. “It feels phenomenal to be a part of an event raising money for local women in the community. I love being a part of it!” LaMaide did not hesitate to get involved with the fashion show and quickly took a lead in the styling, planning and model recruiting for the event. “In addition, we have a local fashion icon in the Detroit fashion industry that will be our guest Emcee. This will be announced the day of the event when she takes the microphone!”
Tickets are only available through Wednesday; cost is $45 for the show, which runs from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. A limited number of VIP tickets are $60 and include a champagne and chocolate reception with fashion experts available for personal consultation from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
