Want to Help Guide Future of Rochester Parks? Review Plan Now

The City of Rochester is preparing a five-year Parks and Recreation Master Plan in accordance with Michigan Department of Natural Resources requirements. When completed, the plan will serve as a guide for the development and improvement of Parks and Recreation facilities over the next five years.

The draft Rochester 2012-2016 Parks and Recreation Plan will be available for review and comment for 30 days beginning today at Rochester City Hall during regular business hours. You can also read the plan online at www.rochestermi.org/parkplan.

The Rochester Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on at 7:30 p.m. April 2 at Rochester City Hall to hear comments on the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
