Bank Robbery Suspect Possibly A Woman, Definitely Short: Police
A suspect wearing all black took an unspecified amount of cash from the Oakland County bank.

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — An Oakland County Comerica Bank branch was robbed of an unspecified amount of cash early Monday afternoon by a suspect described as being short in stature and wearing all black, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office. No injuries were reported.
The suspect, who the Sheriff’s Office said might be a woman, entered the Comerica Bank at 7565 Dixie Highway in Independence Township at about 12:15 p.m. and ordered everyone to put their hands up. The suspect implied that they had a gun and then told a teller to fill up a black bag with cash, reports said.

The teller complied at the suspect then fled the bank and was seen heading southbound in a dark blue SUV, possibly a Saturn Vue, with no license plate, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

The suspect was wearing all black including gloves, and a full face ski mask, reports said. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 248-858-4951 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
