Chats With Tree Experts In Rochester Hills

Celebrating the benefits of being a green city, experts in Rochester Hills are holding sessions with local residents to talk trees.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — The City of Rochester Hills will be hosting an informal Q&A session at the Rochester Tap Room 5-7 p.m. Aug. 28. With over 60 combined years of experience, each arborist has extensive knowledge in all aspects of forestry. This casual event is part of the city's ongoing efforts to promote, manage, and celebrate the benefits trees provide to our community. Attendees can drop in anytime during the event to ask questions.

"The questions we get daily range from gyspy moths to tree removal," said Natural Resources Manager Matt Einheuser. "This event gives residents a chance to get their questions answered outside of the 8-to-5 timeframe."

The city’s arborists maintain more than 19,000 trees along approximately 280 miles of city-maintained streets, pathways, trailways, city parks, and more.

Join us at Rochester Tap Room while you grab a bite to eat or have a drink, pull up a chair and chat with one of the City’s arborists with whatever questions you may have.
