OXFORD, MI — Authorities found detailed descriptions in a journal and cell phone that showed 15-year-old Ethan Crumbley wanted to kill his classmates leading up to the shooting Tuesday at Oxford High School, according to a report.

During a search of Crumbley's home, investigators found two videos recovered from the teen's cell phone that he recorded the night before the shooting, Oakland County Sheriff’s Lt. Tim Willis told the judge at Crumbley’s arraignment. In the videos, he talked about shooting and killing students the next day at Oxford High School, authorities said.

The sheriff also said investigators found a journal, which detailed “his desire to shoot up the school, to include murdering students," the Daily Beast reported.

An Instagram account under Crumbley’s name, which has since been deleted, also included the phrase: “Now I am become Death, the destroyer of world. See you tomorrow, Oxford” written in the biography section, WJBK-TV reported.

Crumbley's social media accounts appeared to show he had access to a gun and practiced with a Sig Sauer handgun, Willis said.

Evidence showed he planned the attack well before the shooting, authorities said at a news conference Wednesday. Furthermore, police found two 15-round clips and believe he may have had a third elsewhere, according to The Daily Beast. Investigators suspect he may have planned to shoot more people.

“This isn’t even a close call,” Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said. “This was absolutely premeditated.”

Crumbley has pleaded not guilty and was ordered jailed without bail while he awaits trial. He was to be moved from a youth detention center to an adult jail in the county.

Crumbley's Behavior Concerned Teachers

Two teachers at Oxford High School reported concerning behavior from sophomore Ethan Crumbley in the days before the deadly shooting at the high school, CNN reported, citing a sheriff.

The first behavioral report came Monday, when a teacher in the classroom where he was a student “saw and heard something that she felt was disturbing,” Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard told CNN.

Hours before the shooting a different teacher in a different classroom “saw some behavior that they felt was concerning,” the sheriff told CNN. They brought Crumbley to an office met with school officials, called in his parents, and ultimately decided he could return to class, the sheriff said.
