Deputies Revive 24-Year-Old Man With Narcan

A 24-year-old man was found slumped over his vehicle's steering wheel and his skin was turning blue when deputies arrived at the scene.

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A woman called 9-1-1 to report her boyfriend had possibly overdosed in his vehicle parked in the 40 block of Canterbury Trail at 11:15 p.m. on Nov. 12, according to a news release.

The woman told 9-1-1 dispatchers that her boyfriend, a 24-year-old Shelby Township resident, was a heroin addict, and she had discovered him slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle.

Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the scene, and found the victim unresponsive. His skin was turning blue and he was experiencing labored breathing. Deputies administered one dose of Narcan to the man and he regained consciousness. Paramedics from the Rochester Hills Fire Department transported the victim to Crittenton Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
