Downtown Rochester Hosts Caroling In The City
The second annual event includes live performances, an ugly sweater contest and a Christmas cookie station.

ROCHESTER, MI — Caroling in the City is making its second debut in Rochester. Held on Sunday, Dec. 16 from 5-8 pm, the event will be a cornucopia of holiday merriment including live performances, Ugly Sweater Contest, Christmas Cookie Station and community caroling.
This year marks the debut of the Rochester Community Carolers, a 149-member choir comprised of carolers of all ages from the greater Rochester community. They believe that the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear and will be performing Christmas favorites throughout the event.
The Rochester Community Carolers will also lead the crowd in the event’s grand finale, The Whobilation, as the carolers join in the community for caroling around the 21-foot Christmas tree in the middle of Main Street.
