Let somebody else cook this holiday season, and support 's Band Program. Rochester Parents of Music Students Host Celebrity Server Night Tuesday Dec. 14 from 5 to 8pm at Rochester Big Boy Restaurant at 90 Tienken Rd.
All proceeds collected from the event will be donated directly to Rochester High School's band program to fund such initiatives as instrument replacement and band materials for students. For more information, contact Lynn Zoschnick at lzoschnick@wideopenwest.com
Carry Out orders will also be applied to the donation program. Raffles conducted throughout the evening of Big Boy Pies will also support purchase of new band instruments.
Rochester Parents of Music Students is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports the instrumental music program at Rochester High School. Volunteer led and operated, the group provides support for RHS Falcon Marching Band and ensemble events, and maintains a general fund used to provide guest artists and clinicians; student scholarships; replacement of instruments; student achievement awards; new color guard and band equipment. The band program is made up of the award-winning Falcon Marching Band, The Concert Band, Campus/Symphony Band, and Wind Ensemble. The RHS program is affiliated with District 16 of the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Program.
