The Board of Education meets tonight to talk about the next step in the search for Superintendent David Pruneau's replacement. Pruneau announced his resignation at the Oct. 18 board meeting. He will finish the school year and retire Aug. 1.
In their request to hire a superintendent search firm, which the board will discuss tonight, the tentative date for having a superintendent hired is March 31, 2011, though that person would not begin work until July 1.
The board of education meeting is open to the public. It begins at 7 p.m. in the Harrison Room of the administrative building.
