Just Between Friends (JBF), the leading consignment sale event nationwide, is excited to host its Fall Rochester/Macomb consignment event from October 10-13 at Elite Indoor Sports in Macomb Twp. This event offers families an excellent opportunity to declutter, earn extra cash, and shop for children's clothing, baby gear, and teen essentials, all on a budget.


Molly Catalina, the owner of JBF Rochester/Macomb and a lifelong Michigan resident, first experienced the benefits of JBF sales in west Michigan These events significantly cut her family’s clothing expenses and showcased the environmental benefits of second-hand shopping.


"Just Between Friends is more than a sale; it’s a community event that helps families save money and the planet," Catalina said. “We’re all doing what we can to maximize our budgets and this is a way to help local families make money through consigning, and spend less by purchasing gently used clothing and children’s essentials.”

Just Between Friends is not just for clothing, shoppers will find strollers, bedding, games, books, bikes and scooters, and even extracurricular accessories like cleats and dance shoes. It’s a one-stop shop to upcycle what you don’t need and make room for the items your kids need for fall and winter.

  • Presale: October 10 (Tickets required, likely to sell out)
  • Opening Day: October 11 (Tickets are free online)
  • Family Day: October 12 (Tickets are free online)
  • Half Price Day: October 13 (No ticket required)

JBF Rochester/Macomb is currently inviting consigners to register. Families can sign up now to sell their items, with consigners typically earning at least 60% of their sales. Items can be dropped off prior to the event, and JBF handles everything from there. For those who prefer a hands-off approach, the Valet Consignment service allows a team member to price and prepare items for sale, with valet sellers earning 45% of each sale.


Catalina emphasizes the dual benefits of participating: "Not only can families earn and save money, but they also support sustainable practices that benefit our environment." She continues, "Our interactive sales portal lets sellers track sales and earnings in real-time, making it a truly unique and rewarding experience."
