OAKLAND COUNTY, MI -- A local school administrator has recently been honored with some prestigious accolades.

After being recognized with the Dr. Effie H. Jones Humanitarian Award at The School Superintendents Association’s (AASA) National Conference on Education, the same organization honored Oakland Schools’ Supt. Wanda Cook-Robinson for her leadership efforts with the Women in School Leadership Award.

“I work hard to provide strong leadership to Oakland Schools with the goal of delivering the support our local schools need to achieve,” said Cook-Robinson. “Still, to be recognized on the national level for my leadership efforts is humbling.”
