Oxford School Shooting: Dispatch Audio Captures Police Response

Nearly 5 minutes of dispatch radio traffic was captured as first responders from Oakland and neighboring counties were called to help.

OXFORD, MI — Recorded dispatch radio traffic illustrates the heartwrenching moments emergency personnel responded to the Tuesday shooting at Oxford High School in Oakland County, Michigan.

Fifteen-year-old Ethan Crumbley is accused of killing four students and injuring multiple others after he fired about 15-20 shots from a semiautomatic handgun just before 1 p.m., officials said. Police received more than 100 calls about the shooting and apprehended Crumbley within five minutes of the first 911 call.

Killed in the attack were 17-year-old Justin Shilling, 17-year-old Madisyn Baldwin, 16-year-old Tate Myre and 14-year-old Hana St. Juliana.
