Rochester Hills Museum At Van Hoosen Farm Launches Online Collection, Newspaper Archive

The Museum continues to accept archival material to support its local history collection such as diaries, maps, papers and artifacts.

From Rochester Hills Museum At Van Hoosen Farm: The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm has made a portion of their historical collections available online for researchers, students, and local residents to utilize and enjoy. Over 7,000 catalog records have been uploaded to the online database using a museum cataloging software called PastPerfect. These collections include archival photographs, documents, and objects related to the greater Rochester area and the Taylor/Van Hoosen family. To access the online collection, visit www.rochesterhills.pastperfectonline.com. In addition, the Rochester Hills Museum has digitized their collection of Rochester Era newspapers dating from 1873-1949 and made it available on the Oakland County Historical Resources website.
