Nov. 19: A Rochester officer was on patrol in the area of Main and University at 2:00 a.m. The officer observed a vehicle traveling higher than the listed speed limit and saw that the radar unit read 36 MPH in the 25 MPH zone. The officer stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, a 36-year-old Shelby Twp. resident. The officer observed that the driver showed signs that she was intoxicated and she was placed through field sobriety testing. The woman failed the offered tests and was taken back to the Rochester Police Department where she agreed to a breath test that resulted with .12% BAC. The driver was charged with operating while intoxicated and was released later when sober.
Nov. 19: A Rochester officer was on patrol in the area of University and Main St. at 3:00 p.m. The officer observed a Jeep Wrangler cross the double yellow lane divider several times. The officer stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, an 18 year old Rochester man. The officer noted the smell of marijuana coming from the car and the driver eventually admitted that there was some marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside of the car, the officer was able to retrieve it. The driver was arrested and booked at the Rochester Police Department. He was later released with a pending court date.

Nov. 21: A Rochester resident reported that their debit card was used at a gas station in the Metro Detroit area. The complainant stated that they have never been to that gas station and were not in the area at that time, the case is under investigation.
