Sample Locally-Tapped Syrup At This Pancake Breakfast

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — Ever wanted to see how old-fashioned syrup is made? Or just looking to enjoy a delicious homemade pancake breakfast? The Van Hoosen Farm is where you’ll want to be this weekend.
The Rochester Hills museum is hosting a Sap-To-Syrup Pancake Breakfast for $7 per person (kids under 4 are free) from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 16.
The 11 a.m. session is already sold out, organizers say.

The event gives locals a chance to see the old-fashioned sap-to-syrup boiling operation from trees tapped right in the community. Guests can sample real maple syrup with their panckaes and enjoy other breakfast staples like sausage, coffee and juice.
Kids under 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
