Suspect Sought in Rochester Hills Break-In, Sexual Assault
Oakland County Sheriff's Office issues sketch of man suspected in break-in, assault.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is seeking information that can lead to the arrest of a man accused of breaking into an apartment and sexually assaulting a Rochester Hills woman.
Deputies from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Rochester Hills Substation responded early Thursday to a home invasion and criminal sexual conduct complainant in the 100 block of Woodview Court in the Woodside Apartment Complex.
A woman at the apartment indicated she was asleep on her sofa when she awoke to find a man standing over her. She told deputies the man forced her to perform a sex act and urged the victim, “Please do not call the police,” before leaving the scene on foot.
An Oakland County Sheriff's Office K-9 unit responded and tracked the subject for about 100 yards before losing the scent.
The man reportedly entered and exited through an unlocked sliding glass door.
Sheriff’s Detectives investigating the incident are trying to determine if two previously reported suspicious person complaints reported in the past month at the same apartment complex are related to this incident.
Deputies responded to the area of Woodview on two separate occasions when residents reported a suspicious person walking around the area. In both incidents, the subject had left the area before deputies arrived.
A Michigan State Police sketch artist was able to complete a composite of the man suspected in the assault and break-in. He is described as a black male, medium to dark complexion, approximately 5-foot-10 tall and about 40 years old.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at (248) 858-4911 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-SPEAKUP (1-800-773-2587).
