How do you know the teacher?
I’m on the faculty and she’s the director of the Art and Practice of Medicine program for Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, which teaches over 250 first and second year medical students.
What does this person teach?
The program teaches all aspects of physical diagnosis.
Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?
She is an award-winning teacher and is the top-ranked faculty member by the students at the end of each semester. The students uniformly comment on how she is wonderful, very nice, and always attentive to teaching, and answering questions.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?
She not only devotes herself to teaching and directing her program, but also has a clinical practice and is the parent of two children.
