Village Of Rochester Hills Offers New Fall Events

ROCHESTER HILLS, MI — A new event is coming to Rochester Hills and it celebrates the best of the season in the city. The Village of Rochester Hills has introduced the new fall series, “Village Vibes.” The fall-themed series will give attendees all the feels, scents, and excitement of fall right in the Village of Rochester Hills. The event will take place each Friday and Saturday, and will feature live performances, face painting, kids’ days, and more, all for free. Village Vibes will continue through Saturday, Oct. 12.

This week’s Village Vibes weekend will include an evening performance in The Gazebo with Melissa Behring & Jake Tobias, a Play Your Way Video Gaming Truck, and family fun activities around the Village. Friday evening at 6 p.m. Melissa Behring and Jake Tobias will sweep you back into your childhood with the “Soundtrack of Your Life” show, featuring their versions and popular Rock, Pop, R&B, and Country songs.

Saturday evening is all about the feelings of fall with family. At 5 p.m. there will be family fun activities happening around the village including face painting and a performance in The Gazebo by Weekend Comeback Band, a high-energy variety band, performing a variety of covers from the 60’s until today.

This weekend’s Village Vibes events will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 4th, 2019. Here's what's in store:

• Fri., Oct 4th – 6 to 8 p.m. :Evening Performance in The Gazebo, “Soundtrack of Your Life” show with Melissa Behring & Jake Tobias.
• Sat., Oct. 5th – 5 to 7 p.m.: Family Fun Activities around The Village, “Play Your Way” Video Gaming Truck hosted by Joey Radio from Channel 955 Performance in The Gazebo - Weekend Comeback Band, a high-energy variety band, performing a variety of covers from the 60's through today hits.
• Fri., Oct 11th – 6 to 8 p.m.: Evening Performance in The Gazebo - The Aspersions. The Aspersions are a two-piece acoustic cover duo. Rich Scalzi on vocals and percussion, "60's Rick" Rabior on vocals and acoustic guitar. The Aspersions cover songs from the 50's, 60's and 70's, classic rock, AM Gold, and Billboard Top 100 hits.
• Sat., Oct 12th – 6 to 8 p.m.: Evening Performance in The Gazeb - BFE (Blaine Fowler Experience) Blaine Fowler is Detroit's morning DJ on 96.3 WDVD and bandmates Matt and Ron. Family Fun Activities around The Village - Stilt walker, Juggler, and Strolling Magician

The Village of Rochester Hills is located at 208 Adams Road in Rochester. Performances in the gazebo and activities are free.
