With Video: Two-Car Collision Shuts Down Northbound Main Street

No one ws seriously injured after two cars collided near Woodward and Main Street about 11 a.m. Friday.

Several people were "shaken up" after their two cars collided near Main Street and Woodward Avenue in Rochester, said Rochester Police Sgt. Mike Rosenblum. The incident occurred around 11 a.m.

There were two people in one of the vehicles and at least one in the other. No one was injured, Rosenblum said.

"This was a pretty-much routine fender bender," said Rosenblum. "One car failed to yield – didn't see it coming – to another, and there's a couple damaged vehicles."

Firefighters from the Rochester Fire Department worked to clean up an oil spill in the northbound and turn lanes, and traffic was re-routed. All occupants of both vehicles walked away from the incident.
