• White Lake Township police offer "Operation Santa's Vault" to protect packages this holiday (cbsnews.com) — White Lake Township residents can have holiday packages shipped directly to the police station through the free “Operation Santa’s Vault” program, reducing the risk of porch thefts. Just address deliveries to your name, add “C/O Santa’s Vault,” and use the department’s Highland Road address, then pick them up with a photo ID by December 23.
   

• Farmington Hills, Ferndale, and White Lake Selected for Park Improvement Grants (oaklandcounty115.com) — White Lake Township’s Stanley Park is slated for $500,000 in improvements thanks to a new Michigan DNR Land and Water Conservation Fund grant. The funding will go toward enhancing local recreation, alongside similar awards to Farmington Hills, Ferndale, and other Michigan communities, and signals more opportunities for future park upgrades statewide.
