Week 6 marks a big milestone of the NFL season; the beginning of bye weeks. With some major names on bye this upcoming weekend, fantasy players will undoubtedly be looking for some streaming options. Here are a few players to consider for those spots.

RB Khalil Herbert (21.2%)

David Montgomery is still out for week 6, and now the Chicago Bears find themselves even deeper in the RB hole. Damien Williams, who filled in beautifully last week for 64 yards and a touchdown in Chicago’s win over Las Vegas, has tested positive for COVID and is out for the Bears matchup with Green Bay.

With that, Khalil Herbert likely takes over the RB1 duties in Chicago. Herbert got plenty of reps last week, and he performed well handling 18 carries for 75 yards. In addition, the Packers run defense brings a somewhat favorable matchup for Chicago’s backfield. With a number of RBs being down this week, Herbert is a solid RB2 option for most leagues.

QB Taylor Heinicke (33.6%)

After Russell Wilson’s finger injury, as well as a bye week for Matt Ryan and questionable status for Daniel Jones, this may be a week to be on the lookout for QB streaming options. Taylor Heinicke fits the bill about as well as anyone else. Heinicke struggled against a strong New Orleans defense last week, but prior to that, he had recorded three consecutive weeks of 20+ points.

As for week 6, Washington finds themselves in an extremely favorable match with the Kansas City Chiefs. Not only does Patrick Mahomes and Co. make this a strong candidate for a high-flying shootout, but the Chiefs defense should make sure Washington has plenty of scoring opportunities. They have allowed the most points in the league through five weeks, giving up 29 or more in each game.

WR Rondale Moore (39.5%)

One of the better rookies this season has gone under the radar this season, and that player is Cardinal wide receiver, Rondale Moore. Moore has not had a massive workload to start the year, but he has been extremely efficient with the opportunities that he’s earned, catching 21 of 24 targets.

As A.J. Green’s target share gradually decreases, it would make sense for Moore’s to be on the rise. Combine that with his elusivity after the catch, and he makes a great streaming option this week with players such as Deebo Samuel on bye.
