Cook has shown to not only be a huge weapon as a runner, but also as a receiver. He once again will be among the main keys to this offense, which has a chance to be very good.

In week seven at Lambeau, the Vikings pulled off a 28-22 upset win over the Green Bay Packers. Cook played a huge role in that by rushing for 163 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries. He also had a 50-yard touchdown reception. The very next week at home against the Detroit Lions he rushed for 206 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries in a 34-20 win.

It will also be interesting to see how new offensive coordinator, Klint Kubiak, uses the versatile back. Running backs may not matter as much as they did in year’s past, but having one like Cook is great to have, especially because of his versatility.
