Notice of Public Hearing to Consider an Ordinance Amending the City Code, Chapter 214, Signs  

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Fridley will hold a public hearing on October 20, 2021 at 7:00 pm at Fridley City Hall, 7071 University Avenue N.E.

The public hearing will consider an ordinance amending the City Code, by repealing Chapter 214, Signs, in its entirety and adopting a new Chapter 214, Signs.  The purpose of the repeal and replace is to comply with constitutional requirements related to regulating the content of a sign and to create consistency throughout the code chapter.  

Any person desiring to be heard shall be given an opportunity at the above stated time and placed. Or, comments may be submitted before the meeting to stacy.stromberg@fridleymn.gov or 763–572–3595.

The City Council will consider this item on November 8, 2021.
