Allianz Life Ranks in Top 100 of Fortune's "Best Companies to Work For" List

As part of the annual "100 Best Companies to Work For" Golden Valley-based Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America recently came in at number 59 for 2013, according to Fortune magazine.

"In the 2013 edition, Fortune highlighted Allianz Life's commitment to employee development as one of the hallmark's of a good employer," according to a press release on the Allianz website.

The list each year is decided from employee surveys which provide feedback on issues such as pay, benefits and job satisfaction, according to Twin Cities Business Magazine.

"As one of only two Minnesota companies selected, we're honored to repeat on the prestigious FORTUNE 100 list," said Allianz Life President and CEO Walter White Jan. 17 press release. "This achievement is the result of the passion and dedication of our employees, who strive for excellence as we help Americans reach their financial and retirement goals. Our culture of innovation and collective drive to be the best make Allianz Life a great place to work and positive part of the community."

The ranking of 59 is a bit of a drop this year in the top 100 for Allianz, which came in at 51 in 2012, according to Fortune.

Mayo Clinic in Rochester was the second Minnesota company named on the list, according to Twin Cities Business Magazine.
