Breck Girls Finish Seventh at State, Lee Takes Home Fourth

The girls gymnastics team finished seventh Friday in team competition at the state Class A meet.

Nicole Lee, sophomore, finished fourth on vault Saturday in individual competition at the University of Minnesota Sports Pavilion.

Niara Hill, also a sophomore, finished 11th on the floor exercise. Senior Libby Lee finished 16th in the same event.

Tori Goldstein was the highest in the all-around, finishing in 22nd place.

The Mustangs got to state by winning the Section 5A title, edging runner-up Delano by less than a point.

Melrose won the team title Friday.
