Calvary Cooperative Hosts Apple Fest

Last week, seniors listened to a presentation by Mike Dekarski, president of Apple Jack Orchards in Delano.

The residents ate apple crisp and apple samples, and drank apple cider and coffee as part of the Apple Fest Open House, according to Mike Samz, property manager.

"The crowd at Calvary Center Cooperative was treated to an enlightened conversation about the success of Minnesota apples," Samz said.

Calvary is an over-55, member-owned housing community.
