The deadline to nominate a local leader for the Bills Hobbs Human Rights Award is tomorrow, Sept 30, 4:30 pm.

The award recognizes members in the Golden Valley community who work to build an environment promoting fair and equal treatment for everyone.

Earlier this year local activists Helene Johnson and Peter Knaeble received the 2020 Bill Hobbs Human Rights Award.

Recipient eligibility and information about the nomination process can be found on the Golden Valley Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commission (DEIC) on the City website.
