Be A Santa To A Senior
The Golden Valley Fire Department partners with Home Instead Senior Care to provide gifts for seniors who might not otherwise receive any during the holidays. To participate in the Be A Santa To A Senior program, go to the Golden Valley Lunds & Byerlys, pick a bulb from the tree, and bring back the requested gift before Dec 10.

Toys For Tots
The Golden Valley Police Department’s Toys For Tots collection is an annual tradition in collaboration with police from multiple departments. On the last collection day, they all meet in Golden Valley, load their cruisers with donated gifts, and parade to the KARE 11 drop-off site. To donate, bring new, unwrapped toys to the GVPD at 7700 Golden Valley Rd (open 24/7) now through Dec 17, 3 pm. The GVPD cannot accept monetary donations.
