Seven Golden Valley residents have filed to run for two Golden Valley City Council seats for the Nov 2 election.

The four-year terms of Council members Larry Fonnest and Gillian Rosenquist are up Dec 31, 2021. Only one is running for re-election. Loretta Arradondo, Joanie Clausen, Andy Johnson, Denise LaMere-Anderson, Drew Peterson, Gillian Rosenquist, and Orville Christian Satter are candidates for the two Council seats. More information about the candidates is available on the Minnesota Secretary of State website.
