Golden Valley Celebrates Night to Unite
The annual cluster of neighborhood block parties and gatherings begins tonight.

If the smell of grilled brats and burgers catches you by surprise tonight, remember, it's Night to Unite--an annual neighborhood gathering and reason to grill.
The event, which was formally known as National Night Out, is a time for neighbors to get together in order to strengthen the community. The idea is to get to know the people on your block, become friends, and keep an eye out for one another.
In July, the City of Golden Valley provided tools to aid neighborhoods in their party planning, including invitation fliers, meal plans and game ideas.
