Golden Valley Company Wins Best App at MobCon

Attendees at this year’s MobCon conference selected a Golden Valley company’s mobile app for law enforcement as the best application of the conference’s MobDemo contest, Twin Cities Business reported.

At-Scene’s iCrime Fighter Enterprise aims to replace an officer’s digital camera, audio recorder, sketch book and notebook with a single app. The app allows officers to collect notes, images, videos and audio interviews in the field, encrypt the files and upload them to secure servers. The evidence is organized by case number and can be viewed by a list or a map.

Attendees at MobCon, which took place Nov. 7 and Nov. 8, selected the best apps based on their “technical merits, innovation, and potential profitability,” according to Twin Cities Business.

The win earned At-Scene a cash prize of $5,000 and a $20,000 credit for additional mobile development from MentorMate.
