Residents on Zane Avenue North and members of Spirit of Hope United Methodist Church munched on food and socialized during .

About 100 children, families and friends gathered at the park near Basset Creek Nature Area. The main attraction included a snowplow driven by Minnesota Department of Transportation employee Becky Spindler.

At Spirit of Hope Methodist Church, families sipped root-beer floats and mingled at tables set up by church volunteers.
