Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest: Golden Valley Police Blotter

On Aug. 7, after being pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign around 1 a.m., a 19-year-old St. Cloud man was arrested on drug-related charges including possession of marijuana in his motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia. The man also was cited for having an open bottle of alcohol in his vehicle.

Other incidents that occurred between Aug. 7 and Aug. 12 include:

Aug. 7

• A Minneapolis man was arrested for driving without insurance and driving on a suspended license. 
• A Minneapolis man was arrested for driving without a license and driving without headlamps.

Aug. 8

• A Waseca man was arrested on traffic and drug-related charges including possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. 

Aug. 9

• A Golden Valley man was arrested for domestic assault which included inflicting bodily harm without a weapon.
• A Bloomington man was arrested for driving after suspension and expired registration.
• A Robbinsdale man was arrested for driving after suspension and for passing an emergency vehicle. 
• A Crystal man was arrested for driving after suspension.
• A Minneapolis man was arrested for driving without insurance and without a valid license. The driver of the car was not the owner of the car.
• A Minneapolis man was arrested on traffic-related charges including speeding, suspicious activity and driving after revocation.

Aug. 10

• A Golden Valley man was arrested for driving after suspension and no proof of insurance.
• A Mound man was arrested on 4th-degree DWI and traffic charges.

Aug. 11

• A Minneapolis man was arrested for no proof of insurance and driving after suspension.
• A Minneapolis woman was arrested for no proof of insurance and driving after suspension.
