Hopkins Public Schools: Kindergarten Information Sessions Announced

Hopkins Public Schools is welcoming the class of 2035 and their families to kindergarten by hosting virtual kindergarten information sessions. We are excited to partner with families and their rising kindergartner this fall and throughout the year. The November sessions are designed to connect families to their school community. Attendees will learn about the Hopkins kindergarten program — which is centered around each child’s academic, social, and emotional success.

Hopkins kindergarten options include:

• All-day kindergarten with Spanish curriculum at six elementary schools in Golden Valley, Hopkins, and Minnetonka.
• Chinese immersion kindergarten located at Eisenhower Elementary Community School.
• Spanish immersion kindergarten located at Eisenhower and Alice Smith Elementary schools.
• Outdoor Immersion kindergarten at Gatewood Elementary.
• Personalized learning, school-wide enrichment, and inquiry-based learning at all schools.

Families of 4- and 5-year-olds, as well as those with younger children who have questions, are invited to attend any of the kindergarten information sessions to learn about the schools and choices available for their child at Hopkins. For health and safety reasons, these sessions will be held online and you can join from the convenience of your home or anywhere you have an internet connection. • Meadowbrook Elementary: Nov. 9, 6:30 p.m.
• Gatewood Elementary: Nov. 10, 6:00 p.m.
• Eisenhower + Immersion: Nov 16, 6:00 p.m.
• Alice Smith + Immersion: Nov. 17, 7:00 p.m.
• Glen Lake Elementary: Nov. 18, 6:30 p.m.
