Blotter: Hit and Run Driver Arrested for DUI

An unknown party or parties forcibly entered a parking garage and maintenance shed located on the 100 block of Gleason Lake Road. The report was received on the morning of Jan. 2. Two drills, valued at approximately $280, were discovered stolen. The case remains under investigation.
A 36-year-old man from Wayzata was arrested just after 9 a.m. on Jan. 1 for domestic assault involving his step-son. The incident occurred on the 100 block of Grand Avenue.

A 59-year-old man from Minneapolis was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary after entering an occupied apartment without permission on Dec. 30 and making threats to occupants. The arrest occurred on the 800 block of Rice Street East.
A hit-and-run property damage accident near Bushaway Road and McGinty Avenue was reported to police just before 8 p.m. on Dec. 28. The suspect was later arrested for DWI within city of Minnetonka.
