Blotter: Woman Kicks Officer, Causes Damage to Police Car

Below is a selection of notable incidents responded to by the Mound Police Department between Nov. 25 and Dec. 6. Not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity.

A 22-year-old man from Orono was arrested just after 9:15 a.m. Dec. 3 on suspicion of fourth-degree DWI and careless driving. Test results are pending.

Police responded to a chimney fire Dec. 3 on the 6600 block of Bartlett Boulevard. The report was received just before 2:30 a.m. Damage estimates are unknown.

A 23-year-old woman from Rogers was arrested Dec. 1 after causing about $100 worth of damage to a police cruiser. The same woman was also charged with fourth-degree assault for kicking a police officer.

Four teenagers are facing charges after two fled from police following a Nov. 27 traffic stop on the 5700 block of Lynwood Boulevard. The two 19-year-old males were caught soon after they attempted to run from officers. Two other juveniles were charged with alcohol and drug offenses.

Police arrested a 32-year-old Mound man on suspicion of third-degree DWI following a traffic stop on the 5600 block of Bartlett Boulevard. The arrest occurred about midnight. Test results are pending.

A 38-year-old Mound man was arrested Nov. 26 for domestic assault. The arrest occurred just before 7 p.m. Nov. 26 on the 2100 block of Bellmont Lane.

Following an early morning traffic stop on the 1900 block of Commerce Boulevard, police arrested a 19-year-old Minnetrista man on suspicion of fourth-degree DWI Nov. 26. A second man was charged with underage consumption of alcohol.

A 61-year-old Mound man was arrested Nov. 25 on an outstanding Hennepin County warrant. The arrest took place on the 3100 block of Westedge Boulevard at 9:15 p.m.
