Want to get dad something special for Father’s Day, but another tie just won’t do?
No problem.
Why not honor him this year with a gift from the Three Rivers Park District.
Forests Forever
Commemorate dad on Father’s Day with the lasting, loving gift of a tree planted in Three Rivers Park District. Gift givers can choose from three levels: a simple tree planting ($25); a recognition tree with planting ceremony ($250); or a contribution to the Forests Forever Reforestation Planting Fund ($1,000 and above).
Forest Forever honorees will receive a card and a certificate suitable for framing.
Their names also will be placed on the permanent Forests Forever log. To order a Forests Forever tree, visit the Three Rivers Parks website or call 763-559-9000.
Adopt a Sprinkler Head Cover
Does Dad love golf?
Adopt Baker National Golf Course and Eagle Lake Golf Center's Eagle Course sprinkler-head covers. Even someone who "has everything" probably does not have a Three Rivers Park District golf course sprinkler-head cover.
Donations help support the Golf Academy of Three Rivers Park District's youth golf programs. The sprinkler heads can be engraved with an individual name ($75), family name ($100) or business name ($200).
Donors select the sprinkler head's location, where it will remain for two years. At that point, donations can be renewed.
Sprinkler-head donations are tax deductible, excluding the $15 cost of the cover. To adopt a sprinkler-head cover, call 763-694-7670.
