Confirmed: Noodles and Company Will Open Wayzata Location

Noodles and Company is coming to Wayzata.

The new restaurant will be located at 1179 Wayzata Boulevard East and should be open for business by the time school starts.

Colin Kuechle represents Noodles and Company and said last week the company was anxious to open it first location in the Lake Minnetonka area.

"We're very excited to be coming to Wayzata," he said. "We've been waiting a while."

The restaurant will serve an assortment of salads, pastas and classic noodle dishes and feature an outdoor patio on the south side of the building. Although Kuechle said it represented less than 1 percent of sales, alcohol will also be available in the form of 3:2 beer and wine.

Noodles and Compnay has locations in more than 15 states, and the Wayzata restaurant would be No. 31 in Minnesota.
