More than 500 athletes gathered in Excelsior Saturday, June 14, to compete in the tenth annual Lake Minnetonka Triathlon. David Thompson, 38, won the race--which consisted of a half mile swim, 15 mile bike and three mile run--with an overall time of 1:00.56.
