TODAY: Joe Mauer Visits Maynards in Excelsior

The Minnesota Twins have confirmed that Joe Mauer will make a public appearance today (Thursday, Jan. 26) at .

Mauer is scheduled to arrive at noon, and he will be on his way to Rochester by 1 p.m.

Mauer will be accompanied by third baseman Danny Valencia and play-by-play television announcer Cory Provus. Radio station 1500 AM will be broadcasting from the site and talking with Mauer and Valencia.

"Mauer will be there at 12 p.m.," read a Thursday tweet from the Twins to Maynards.

It's unclear if Mauer will be signing autographs.
