Letter: Supporting Christians, Vanderlinde for Minnetrista City Council

To the editor:

I would like to voice my support for Mark Vanderlinde and Bob Christians for Minnetrista City Council.

Mark has been instrumental in reinstating the citizen's right to be heard. He has a proven track record of keeping our tax rate low while providing the same or better level of services to our citizens. Mark has focused on improving our roads and involving our residents in a road committee to plan for the current maintenance and future infrastructure of the city's roads. Currently the road committee is conducting a study of aggregate and chemical treatments on Sunnyfield Road North and Kingswood Road.

Bob Christians is a well-known financial supporter of this community. Many of you know him from the girls' softball teams he supports or his involvement in Celebrate Greater Mound.  He is a tireless volunteer and he has never hesitated to stand up and speak for the taxpayer.

Both Mark and Bob bring proven management skills to the council as successful business owners. They have spent their time, money and energy contributing to our community.  

Please vote for two qualified candidates that will look out for you.
