Letter: Supporting Sara Wyatt for Three Rivers Park District Commissioner

Three Rivers Park District Board Chairman backs Sara Wyatt.

To the editor,

As the current Chairman of Three Rivers Park District Board, I am supporting Sara Wyatt for the District One Three Rivers Park Commissioner.

Like all public agencies, Three Rivers faces the challenges of continuing to provide the excellent facilities and services that our users have come to expect. For the past three years Sara has promoted a 0 percent tax levy increase, and for two terms she has worked tirelessly to make sure that Three Rivers Park District is one of the leading park systems in the country.

Sara has consistently supported development of the regional trail system which is now enjoyed by over 4 million visitors annually. She has also been active in programs to improve water quality and to protect lakes from aquatic invasive species. Time and time again, Sara has proven that she is a creative and dedicated leader who helps the park district meet its financial and environmental challenges. S

ara is a great member of the Board, one I am very proud to work with and one who works hard to preserve and protect the future of the great parks, trails and natural areas that we all love.
