1 Person Dead, Another Injured Following Minneapolis Fire
According to the Minneapolis Fire Department, the fire happened along the 2500 block of 24th St. East on Thursday afternoon.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — One person has died following a building fire Thursday afternoon along the 2500 block of 24th St. East, according to the Minneapolis Fire Department.
Firefighters said after arriving on scene, they conducted a search of the building and located a male resident on the first floor. He was given medical attention by EMS crews on the scene
Fire crews said they then found a second resident in a room who was pronounced deceased.

The fire is now under control but the cause remains under investigation, the fire department said.
