Hosted by the City of Minneapolis, the eighth annual Minneapolis Trans Equity Summit takes place Oct. 3-4. The summit, which is free and open to the public, includes both virtual and in-person events.

This year's Trans Equity Summit keynote speaker is Erica Woodland, a licensed clinical social worker who has worked at the intersections of movements for racial, gender, economic, trans and queer justice and liberation for more than 15 years. Panelists include Erin Sharkey, Ms. July 23rd, G. Nic Rider and Nomi Badboy with moderator Quinn Villagomez aka Shimmer. Both the keynote and panel will be virtual.

Other events include career and resource fairs, performances, workshops, and healing and aesthetics offerings.
