Minneapolis City Offices To Close Feb. 15 For Presidents Day

City offices will resume regular business hours on Tuesday following the holiday.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Minneapolis City government offices, including Minneapolis 311, will be closed Monday, Feb. 15, in observance of the Presidents Day holiday. City offices resume regular business hours the following day.

According to city officials, there will be no changes to garbage and recycling pick-up schedules, and there will be regular pickups Feb. 15. However, the solid waste and recycling customer service office (and information line) and the South Transfer Station will be closed.

The city’s metered parking spaces are not enforced Feb. 15. Other metered parking restrictions in Minneapolis may be in effect and subject to enforcement, including Park Board, University of Minnesota and private organizations that operate their own meters. Always read the information posted on the meter to be certain, city officials stressed.

Minneapolis police and fire emergency services and 911 are not affected.
