Last February, a group of about 600 began a petition on Facebook asking for Chipotle Mexican Grill to locate near the intersection of Highway 7 and County Road 101. They are about to get their wish. Chipotle will occupy the former Caribou Coffee and Bruegger's Bagels spaces in Westwind Plaza (4717 County Rd 101). Renovations to the building will include a complete rewmodeling of the interior into a single tenant space and updated exterior. An outdoor patio dining area has been <a href="http://www.eminnetonka.com/news_events/show_project.cfm?link_id=chipotle_mexican_grill&amp;cat_link_id=Planning" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">proposed to the city of Minnetonka</a>. The patio would be located on the south side of the space on a wide section of existing sidewalk, fully enclosed by a permanent railing.  The city's planning commission will discuss the patio proposal on Nov. 29 and plans to send it to the city council on Dec. 3 for a final decision. There is an existing Chipotle Mexican Grill location in Minnetonka's Ridgedale Shopping Center at the south entrance.  Are you looking forward to a Chipotle in Westwind Plaza?
