According to the national Centers for Disease Control, multiple COVID-19 variants are circulating globally, and in the United States. Several of these variants have been identified and are spreading in Minnesota. Public health leaders say these variants, including omicron, are concerning because they are more contagious. For example, data shows that some variants spread more easily and can be as much as 50% more contagious than the original virus.
The Farmers Market is scheduled to return with an indoor winter market on Saturday Feb. 12 and Mar. 12. Information on those events and vendors will be updated on the Farmers Market page of the city's website.
