People and nature are inseparable. Nature provides materials we use, services that sustain our communities and the planet, and experiences that restore our spirits. The City of Minnetonka is filled with these resources – from robust woodlands, lush grasslands and bodies of fresh water to diverse pollinators, birds and other wildlife. At the same time, the city’s natural environment and resources are vulnerable to habitat loss, climate change, invasive species and other threats that are primarily linked to human activity.
