Our speaker is LaRhae Knatterud, Director, Aging Transformation for the Minnesota Deprtment of Human Services, where she has worked for 15 years.  She is chief staff for Aging 2030, a project to prepare the state for a permanent shift in the age of the population, beginning with the large baby boom generation that started turning 65 in 2011. 


Ms. Knatterud coordinates DHS efforts on long-term financing reform.  She has authored several legislative reports on matters such as long-term care and more recently preparing Minnesota for attending to clients with Alzheimer’s disease.
